When applying Exchange 2013 CU’s, I’m often faced with the following error during pre-req checks.
A reboot from a previous installation is pending. Please restart the system and then rerun Setup.

Rebooting the server doesn’t help!
Open Registry Editor, and locate the following key:
Check the content, typically it’s print spooler related rubbish.
Clear the content. Click OK.
Back to the Exchange 2013 CU installer, click retry & you should be good to continue.
