Office 365: eDiscovery Manager permissions

Overview

If you perform a Content Search in the Office 365 Security & Compliance Center, to be able to preview and export the search results you need to be assigned eDiscovery permissions.

If you don’t have these permissions, you’ll get the following errors.

“Error: You can’t preview search results because you’re not assigned the Preview role.  If you’re a member of the Organization Management role group, you can go to the Permissions page and add yourself as a member of the eDiscovery Manager role group.  Otherwise, contact your admin.”
