Finding the folder path of a Mail Enabled Public Folder

 

The following details how to determine the folder path of a Mail Enabled Public Folder.

Using Exchange Management Shell, run the following PowerShell commands.

Get the EntryID of the Mail Enabled Public Folder

$entry = Get-MailPublicFolder WhatImLookingFor@x500.co.uk| select EntryID

This is what it looks like…

$entry:

000000002A447390AA7611CD9BC800AA002FC45A03009722832CDC6F6141934328B9FC92E8E300023DC6FE5D0000

Get the path from the EntryID

Get-PublicFolder -Identity $entry | select Name, Identity, ParentPath

Name : What I’m Looking For
Identity : \Reports\Weekly\WhatImLookingFor
ParentPath : \Reports\Weekly
